Position: JD Edwards Programmer / Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
- Develop/review test plans, execute testing processes, and review test results. Code solutions as required.
- Upgradesystem and correct errors to maintain system after implementation
- Act as a liaison to the business departments providing assistance to identify business processes, workflow, business requirements, and training.
- Plan and conduct the analysis of business processes and systems within a designated business unit, department, or group.
- Recommend cost-effective solutions to resolve business system problems and improve the business process.
- Study existing information processing systems to evaluate effectiveness and develops new systems to improve production or workflow as required.
- Gather and analyzing business requirements, create technical specifications documentation, participate in requirements and technical design reviews.
- Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of project experience as a Business Analyst defining business requirements and SDLC.
- 3+ years of project experience as a Systems Analyst or technical project experience
- One or more implementations of a JDE ERP package version 8.12 EnterpriseOne or above with expertise with one or more of the following JDE modules: Manufacturing, Financials, Advance Warehousing, EDI, Sales/Distribution and Transportation
- Proficiency in writing program specifications, program and system testing
- Experience with DSI scripting tool and/or forms overlay product like Covus, Formscape, or CreateForms
