Ideal Candidate:

Roles and Responsibilities:
*10 years experience in Configuration Management/configuration control in a DoD or FDA design/manufacturing environment, with specific experience in the planning and conduct of physical configuration audits.
*Strong applied knowledge in project management, Configuration Management and document management.
*Knowledge of Configuration Management methodology, concepts and workflow.
* Experience with DoD or FDA specification practices and knowledge of industry design/drawing practices to include ASME Y100 or MIL-STD-100.
*Knowledge of MIL-Q-9858A or FDA 21 CFR Part 820 required.
*Knowledge of Configuration Control Board practices and procedures, change management processes, and Engineering Change Order/Proposal (ECO/ECP).
*Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team. Excellent interpersonal skills required.
*Responsible for all hardware and software CM functions to include the control of documentation within projects. Maintains and controls engineering drawings.
* Responsible for management and control of the CM baselines. Ensure compliance with all configuration management processes, policies and procedures. Maintains various program CM baselines, Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Status Accounting (CSA), and Configuration Audit.
*Coordinate with relevant project personnel to facilitate obtaining all changes and deliverables for each Project.
*Control and track changes to Product Baselines including software, hardware, documentation and drawings from project inception to project closeout.
* Participates in Configuration Control Board (CCB) activities, manages CCB for specified projects, and is responsible to see that all CCB and records are up to date, complete and accurately maintained.
*Aids in the development of the Configuration Management disciplines required to manage a program.
*Conceives and develops Configuration Management policies and procedures as needed.
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Science degree plus 8-10 years of directly related experience. Professional certification in Configuration Management preferred.
*SAP Implementation Program experience is a plus.
*Configuration Control Board (CCB) management skills are required.
*Strong written and oral communications skills are essential.
*Must be self-motivated, team player, proactive, and require minimal supervision.
