Adecco Medical & Science, a leading provider of contract and permanent staffing in the Pharmaceutical, Life Science Technology, Medical Device, and Health Care industry is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to work for many of our clients in the State of Arizona.
Adecco M&S is seeking experienced Pharmacists to work for our clients in the state of AZ, in the Phoenix area, under the following responsibilities but not limited to:
- Review of prescriptions for accuracy of entry by technicians, and appropriateness of therapy, may also review participant profile, drug interactions and drug allergies.
- Receive oral prescriptions and reduces them to writing, may contact physicians as appropriate or oversee technicians contacting physicians for clarification of prescription information.
- Initiate Dr. call to clarify prescriptions via fax or phone.
- Update prescriptions when clarification is received.
- May also call patients to clarify some information.
- Responsible for any participant clinical questions or any other questions concerning the filled prescriptions
- Responsible for responding to concerns and requests from members.
- Enter and retranslate prescriptions based on requests received.
- Pour, count, mix, compound, and verify prescriptions for correctness and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal requirements, as well as company policies and procedures.
Education and Qualifications
- Required to have a Pharmacist license in the State of Arizona, current and in good standing
- A minimum of 2 years of related experience within a pharmacy
- Strong communication skills
