Sr. Developer/Developer -JAVA
(Web Services and Java Experience)

*** Please note this will only be a W2 contract opportunity in down town Seattle, WA. The position is an onsite position (no telecommuting). I would like to note that expenses for interviews/relocation will not be covered by the company and will have to be at your own expense.
Qualification
Deep technical knowledge of Java, with working knowledge of C# and
the ability to deliver high quality results.
Solid hands-on programming experience in Java and Web Services
Experience with User Interface (UX), Usability design, Windows
Forms. XAML, UI markup languages are a plus.
Self-starter - able to work independently, be self-motivated and team
player.
Successful candidates must be enthusiastic about translating
ambiguous requirements to working software solutions
Participate/Familiar in Agile Scrum development process.
Proactively detect and resolve issues in a high quality and professional
manner.
Proficient in scripting languages (i.e. Unix shells, JavaScript, Perl,
and/or PowerShell)
Five (5) or more years of practical Software Design or Development
experience in Java and knowledge of C# a plus.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve thru excellent
analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent troubleshooting skills and a data driven focus.
Experience with mission critical/high availability systems
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrates excellent process, documentation, team management
and problem-solving skills
Desirable
Deployment, configuration IIS, Apache Tomcat , etc …
UML knowledge preferable and comfortable understanding of
architecture documents and diagrams (OO design)
Experience with doing Automated System Deployment using scripting
desirable
Knowledge of JUNIT. Develop automated unit tests, load tests in java,
C# experience a plus, and various scripting languages.
Knowledge of LoadRunner
Develop and document test engineering best practices
Assist with integrating test into release process
Ability to work in a Unix Environment
Write and execute functional BVTs
Proficient in writing and understanding SQL queries
Experience and specific accomplishments in improving software
quality, engineering efficiency
Experience with scalable distributed systems is a positive
Having shipped a product is a big plus
