Responsibilities:

•Work as part of a QA team and handle the testing of the Flip Video camcorder from test plan development to release notification

•Prepare, execute and refine test plans in conjunction with development of camera hardware and firmware

•Execute the test cases, discover the “hard to find” bugs, document and publish test results

•Capture test output in a form which facilitates root cause determination

•Assist in implementation of a (yet to be defined) test plan automation tool, contribute to the optimization of the overall test efforts

•Ensure on-time completion of test plan creation and test execution

•Reduce the time required to test the project/feature while maintaining exceptional quality

•Review and keep up to date bug database

•Help and mentor the Testers

•Accurately report the state of project/feature under test




Manager Specific Requirements : Requirements:

•8+ years of device testing experience

•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

•Worked on the testing team of any major consumer electronic product /camcorder

•Proficient in black/ gray box testing

•Strong understanding of Quality Assurance fundamentals, strategies and technologies

•Ability to understand and effectively own features, be responsible for the overall quality of the product

•Ability to demonstrate exceptional test case writing, test execution and be proficient at writing bug reports

•Expert tester and mentor

•Enthusiastic and motivated, with effective organizational and communication skills

•Strong passion for video/audio technologies

•Ability to work in a fast paced environment
