Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a MANUFACTURING QUALITY ASSURANCE DIRECTOR on a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with a leading COLLIER COUNTY client!
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Overall responsibility for Manufacturing QA department, including Supplier QA, Documentation Control, Manufacturing Quality Engineering, and Quality Control and Sterilization activities.
Responsible for maintaining a Quality System that is in compliance with worldwide medical device regulations, including FDA Quality System Regulations and European Medical Device Directives.
Responsible for Manufacturing QA/QC support, inspection efficiency, supplier relationships, training and documentation.
 
Education:
Bachelors of Science in Engineering discipline, or extensive equivalent experience (15+ years) in lieu of formal education in technical aspects of Quality Assurance and Quality Control, required.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Participates in gathering user/customer requirements with emphasis on manufacturing
Proficiency in the use of all MFG/PRO Modules
User support and training for MFG/PRO and internet interfaces
Maintain documentation and change control
 
Specific Experience:
Extensive experience in QA activities within a Medical Device, GMP/ISO compliant organization. 
Experience working with International regulatory bodies and with the FDA.
Direct experience as a Manager/Director with supervisory responsibilities in a manufacturing environment required.
