Adecco Group North America Recognized For Diversity and Inclusion Practices by Uptown Professional Magazine

MELVILLE, NY (October 7, 2011)— Adecco Group North America, part of the world leader in recruitment and workforce solutions, is proud to announce that Uptown Professional Magazine recognized the Company as one of the publication's Top 40 companies for Diversity and Inclusion.

The annual award, which recognizes companies that have a strong leadership commitment to diversity and inclusion, is based off a series of notable criteria components including persons of color and women on the organization's board of directors, representation of diverse individuals in senior-level management and the presence of supplier and vendor diversity programs. Adecco Group North America was singled out for recognition based on the commitment of Chief Executive Officer Tig Gilliam to incorporate diversity and inclusion into all aspects of business.

Adecco Group North America was featured in the Summer 2001 issue of the magazine and was one of the three organizations that were presented the award on September 8, 2011 at the New York Stock Exchange as part of the 2011 World Diversity Leadership Summit.
