President & COO named the Most Intriguing Woman in the Staffing Industry.

Joyce Russell Honored for Exceptional Leadership on Staffing Industry Review's List of The Most Intriguing People in Staffing

(MELVILLE , NY) August 24, 2009 – Adecco General Staffing USA, part of the world's largest recruitment and workforce solutions provider, is proud to announce that Staffing Industry Review ranked Joyce Russell, the company's president & COO, as the most intriguing woman in the staffing industry.

The list, which was published in Staffing Industry Review 's August edition, honors the ten most intriguing people in staffing and also includes Earvin “Magic” Johnson at the top of the list, who launched Magic Workforce Solutions in 2008 through a strategic alliance with Adecco.

"Joyce is one of the most engaging, intelligent and nicest people I know. She really cares about putting people to work in all communities. That's why I love and respect her,” said Earvin “Magic” Johnson, chairman and COO of Magic Johnson Enterprises.

Russell began her career at Adecco as a branch manager and over the past two decades has established herself as one of the most respected and recognized executives in the staffing industry, now responsible for overseeing field operations and executing new growth strategies for the company to help sustain Adecco's role as the global leader in workforce solutions. She was selected as one of two Adecco USA employees to be an official torch runner at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney , Australia . Additionally, Russell is on the Board of Directors for the Chief Diversity Officer's Roundtable at Cornell University , is a member of The Committee of 200 and supports the Young Life and Hope Unlimited organizations. She is married with two sons.
