FUNCTION OF THE JOB

Responsible for leading projects in the development and maintenance of application software for business and engineering functions in a client/server environment.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or related area or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Eight (8) years of progressive applications development programming experience in a medium to large computer system and client/server environment.
Extensive knowledge of application development, support and maintenance including business, engineering and/or operations, and programming methodology, procedures and concepts.
Extensive knowledge of Oracle client/server applications development tools, report writers and database.
Extensive knowledge of computer operating systems including Windows, UNIX, Linux and/or Windows Server 2003/2008.
Extensive knowledge of software development methodologies (such as OOAD, Waterfall, Agile).
Extensive knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite supporting the following modules: General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Project Accounting, Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits and iRecruitment.
Experience with XML, Oracle BIPublisher, Oracle Application Framework, AME (Approval Management Engine), and Oracle Fusion applications.
Extensive knowledge of development tools and writing code in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Reports and Forms.
Experience with Informatica ETL and/or OBIEE Repository desired.
Experience with Oracle APEX desired.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing to technical, user personnel, and management.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Knowledge of IT Service Management processes and best practices (such as Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
Willingness and ability to promote, establish and maintain an effective team service orientation in meeting the needs and requirements of the user community for assigned projects.
Electric utility experience desired.
Willingness to travel as required (Possession of valid current driver’s license or ability to obtain.)
