Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening. We are looking for a Senior Embedded Firmware Development Engineer who will become a key contributor to our HDTV video surveillance applications and systems. The ideal candidate is a person with hands-on embedded firmware development expertise who enjoys working in an extremely aggressive engineering team. Depending on the individual, this position may also include some management responsibilities and evolve into the firmware development manager position.


Job Summary:

Develop embedded firmware for megapixel IP cameras
Provide technical assistance to integration partners and customers worldwide in developing applications involving megapixel IP cameras
Prepare technical documentation related to application development


Requirements:

MS in EE or similar, 5+ years of experience in the related field
Platform independent low level C/C++ development for embedded systems
Code optimization for very thin embedded systems
DMA, PHY/MAC networking and state machines
Encryption in modern networking
TCP/IP components development
WEB programming including HTML, JavaScript, AJAX


Nice-to-have skills:

Familiarity with image compression standards MJPEG, H.264
Familiarity with security and surveillance applications
