The Compensation Analyst will perform staff support activities to develop, implement and administer compensation policies, programs and systems.
Develop and/or participates in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine company's competitive position.
Assists in the preparation of new hire salary offers.
Reviews proposed salary adjustments for conformance to established guidelines, policies and practices.
Recommends corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related problems. Reviews requests for new or revised classifications to determine appropriate salary grade assignment.
Responsible for day-to-day operation of HRIS applications in support of Compensation function and assists in developing new applications (e.g., for year-end review, surveys, sales processes, and others). Assists in the preparation of special studies and recommendations on subjects such as incentive compensation, bonus plans, sales compensation or stock options.
Working knowledge of PeopleSoft or other similar compensation systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced knowledge of Excel; Demonstrated strong quantitative and analytical skills; Strong communication skills
Candidates with a BS or BA with 2-8 years of compensation experience is highly preferred.
