Our customer, a leader in the financial industry, is searching for a Project/Program Manager in the Overland Park, KS area. Contract position. Immediate need.
Position: Project/Program Manager
Location: Overland Park, KS
Facilitate process mapping sessions with subject matter experts and map end to end “as is” current state processes.
Complete a SIPOC for each process mapped. Leads team of SME’s through the Process Mapping exercise ensuring all process steps are accurately documented.
Identifies gaps in process, metrics or controls. Conducts interviews with key contacts across the organization to gather baseline information. Partners with process owners to ensure process maps are accurate.
Education / Experience / Skills:
· BS / BA or equivalent work experience·
· 5+ years of experience, including demonstrated leadership in process improvement roles.
· Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or background preferred
· Drives for results. Ability to adhere to and enforce deadlines
· Superior written and verbal communications skills
· Experience in the financial services industry highly desired.
· Retirement experience is preferred
