What’s more, the field is growing, expanding by 45 percent over the next 10 years. Of course, in exchange for the perks and great job security, registered nurses are expected to work long hours and often operate in high-pressure situations.

Biomedical engineers have the best careers in science.

Biomedical engineers can work almost anywhere – in hospitals, research facilities, schools, government agencies, and even in corporate marketing departments. With a unique mix of skills that blends engineering with medical, these professionals are in tremendous demand, and they earn an average annual salary of $97,000.

To become a biomedical engineer, a master’s degree is often required, at minimum. However, this extensive education can pay off in the form a challenging and dynamic career.
