Our customer, a leader in the financial industry with locations from coast to coast, is searching for a Compliance / Due Diligence Review / AML Specialist. This is a W – 2 contract job with a global Fortune 500 Company. A foot in the door has the possibility to open additional opportunities. Many of our associates have enhanced their current skills, had their contracts extended, converted to full time employment, or been re-deployed after their assignment ends.
Position: Compliance / Due Diligence Review / AML Specialist
Location: Newark, Delaware
Pay Rates: Depends on Experience up to maximum
Length: 3 months (Can be extended)
Understanding of BSA, AML, and other AML regulatory policies with the ability to apply and explain regulatory concepts
> Understands products, customers and expected type of activity in order to effectively identify risk and suspicious activity
> Familiarity with the firm's internal systems and processes
> Working knowledge of ML/TF risk areas
> Self-starter, capable of working under minimum supervision
> Adept to multi-tasking and meeting deadlines in high-pressure environment
> Results oriented team player
> Strong problem solving ability
> Exceptional research and analytical skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data, decipher higher risk attributes (transactional, geographical, product, customer type, etc.) and disposition appropriately.
> Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
> Proficient in MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
> Strong documentation skills to clearly articulate alert disposition
> Adherence to controls and standards
5+ years of experience required
