Job description

Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Clerk I job in Lewiston, Maine. This is a 3 Month temporary position. As a Clerk I you will be responsible for entering data into internal systems - some point and click, some keystrokes. Also, you will have some e-mail communication with customers and other depts.

Duties:
Verifies completeness and accuracy of information. Maintains records or logs. Sets up and maintains files and records. Compiles regular, special, and statistical reports using established formats and procedures. May do minimal analysis as required. Operates all types of office equipment. Work requires sound knowledge of department procedures. May have moderate contact with the public and in-house departments to give or receive information or resolve discrepancies.

Requirements:
1 year previous banking experience, as well as previous experience in a corp. environment
high attention to detail
comfortable with computers and learning new programs - Word, Excel, Outlook and some Access
team player, flexible, friendly, comfortable with a desk based role
able to handle tight deadlines, high volumes and a fast paced environment
1 year previous data entry experience a must
good written communication
