Job Definition: Assist the Comptroller in the management of the accounting functions, back office support and federal and state compliance. Manage and complete special financial projects. Must be willing to travel to Casper, Wyoming often during the first year - up to 25% travel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Promote, develop and document sound accounting and internal control financial policies and procedures
Preparation of periodic internal financial reports
Maintain GL account
Prepare journal entries on a monthly basis
Reconcile Bank and General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash Management and Job Costing on a monthly basis
Month end closing
Assess Internal Control
Financial and business analysis
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Assist with cash management
Skills and Abilities Required:
Solid working knowledge of GL, accounting, financial statements, receivables/payables, payroll, fixed assets and government regulations
Demonstrate knowledge of auditing, forecasting, budgeting, and investment cash flow analysis
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
5 or more years’ experience in manufacturing or oil & gas industry
Strong computer skills
Background check and drug testing will be required.
