Position: Business Data Analyst

Location: Newark, DE

Length: 5 Month Contract


Analyst Description

Remediation Analysts are accountable for monitoring, maintaining and triaging questions received from our Shared Public Mailbox. Analysts will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager by completing tasks assigned in an accurate and timely manner. They may also be responsible for creating metrics reports, investigating returned mail and providing account reference data level analysis. Analysts will work directly with the Project and Programs Managers, as well as have some contact with the Middle Office. The Large Trader Identification (LTID) Project is the main initiative on which this position will focus. The candidate will also be responsible for developing his or her business knowledge and use that information to support and enhance the quality of all their assigned tasks.

Core responsibilities include:

Monitor a shared mailbox as well as a Mail Stop to assess and gather LTID information
Understand full scope of LTID initiative and follow Operating Model describing remediation effort
Develop and execute detailed remediation reports
Identify, mitigate and escalate risks/ issues and resource conflicts that impact progress against deliverables
Escalate (via Operating Model definitions) questions or concerns raised through client communication
Capture LTID information into interim database
Ensure daily entry and escalation volumes are supported
Accuracy rate will be measured and must have a 95% accuracy rate
Participate in and suggest continual process improvement

Qualifications

Possess at least 3 years of BAU or remediation initiatives
Core competencies in Excel, Word , Powerpoint and Outlook
Attention to detail, organization and accuracy
Ability to be flexible, organize and prioritize work
Effective time management skills
Strong Interpersonal skills; motivate project team members and interact effectively with all levels
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Solid issues management and resolution skills
