Controller needed for very successful and growing Construction Company. 15 person office and about 15 million in revenues this position comes with a lot of responsibility and reward.
Ideal candidate will have background and experience in the construction industry and a solid understanding of Cost Accounting as materials, labor and various other items need to be allocated correctly. The accounting system used is Timberline and it is a huge benefit to have experience with this system. The controller will supervise one person who will be doing the A/P and A/R and billing. Will work in conjuction with MP on budget, month end and preparation of all financial reports. Will nterface with external auditors and assist in quartely and annual as well as taxes.
Payroll is certified payrolls and there are about 40 employees that are electricians and belong to a union. About 15 employees in-house and all payroll is done through Timberline.
BA in accounting is preferred as well as prior contruction industry background/experience.
Must have excellent computer skills and being proficient using Timberline is big plus.
