1. Maintain accounting and administrative files by updating, purging and filing related documents on a routine basis.
2. Perform various clerical accounting functions including: data entry, typing, filing and copying.
3. Operate standard office equipment efficiently to include: personal computer, printer, copier, wireless communication devise, etc.
4. Enter all invoices and vendor credit memos into GP for processing.
5. Review, correct and process employee expense reports in Concur.
6. Retrieve, convert, upload and post final Concur data into GP for the (5) companies.
7. Respond promptly to all vendor inquiries in a courteous manner.
8. Respond promptly to all employee inquiries in a courteous, helpful manner.
9. Prepare bank deposits and deliver to the bank maintaining a proper audit trail.
10. Process monthly Great Plains (GP) Depreciation and Amortization entries.
11. Update Fixed Asset sub-ledger to reflect monthly purchases.
12. Prepare ad hoc analysis and reports as directed by Management.
13. Post cash and/or other payments received to the appropriate Balance Sheet account in GP.
14. Prepare general ledger and bank reconciliations monthly.
15. Prepare related ACH/Wire transmissions for approval.
16. Prepare analysis of general ledger accounts as required.
17. Prepare weekly cash requirements report (Cash Flow Report).
18. Assist in monthly closings by entering information into GP as directed.
19. Assist with the month-end/year-end closing and balancing procedures in accordance with GAAP.
20. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements with appropriate analysis on a timely basis as requested.
21 . Prepare and/or develop performance measures for the corporation and various related entities.
21. Establish effective working relationships with managers and partner with them to improve operational and managerial reporting.


1) Bachelors Degree in accounting or related field, preferred
2) Five to ten years of general accounting, accounts payable and experienced required.
3) A combination of Education and Experience will be considered in filling the position.




Knowledge of and practical experience with accrual accounting, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and general ledger.
Knowledge of and practical experience with PC-based software such as Great Plains, Quick-books, etc., as well as Mac.
Computer literacy in common office software; Excel, Word, Outlook and Access.
