Summary:
Develops, manages and conducts New Hire, Refresher, Supervisory and Management Development training programs to facilitate employee development. Determines training needs, most effective instructional method, selects or develops teaching aids and ensures training environment is conducive to learning. Responsible for training newly acquired and existing talent; allows Operations to meet financial obligations to our clients.
Responsibility level:
* Develops and manages training materials (New Hire, Refresher / Up-Training, Supervisory, Management Development, etc.)
* Executes and manages training delivery (New Hire, Refresher / Up-Training, Supervisory, Management Development, etc)
* Plans and organizes New Hire and Refresher training classes
* Manages and contributes to the development of end user documentation and training material, including presentations, student guides, data for demonstrations and exercises, instructor guidelines, training aids, work instructions, online help, simulations, computer-based training, and procedures
* Supervises Agents during New Hire Training; evaluates students and recommends or performs terminations as appropriate and necessary
* Responsible for training new Agents and graduating required # of Agents so Operations can meet financial obligations to the client
* Waives or deviates from established policies and procedures during a training class without prior approval to meet the needs of the class, accommodate system outages, to address resource shortages or to manage other unforeseen obstacles
* Coordinates training evaluations; adjusts training methods, delivery, and training aids in accordance with effectiveness measure
* Identifies and incorporates revisions to existing training programs based on evaluations
* Defines process for making corrections and updates to training documentation and related data/exercises
* Utilizes adult learning strategies and delivery mechanisms
* Communicates training plans, issues, and status to management
* Uses a variety of training development tools to meet project objectives and deadlines
* Enforces and enhances training and documentation standards
* Interfaces and coordinates with subject matter experts (internal and external) to obtain or verify information or processes
* Investigates and resolves matters of significance on behalf of management; and represents the company in handling complaints, arbitrating disputes or resolving grievances
* Performs other related duties as required
Requirements:
* Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills
* Experience with Adult Learning Principles and Curriculum Development
* Detail oriented regarding every step required to enable the business process and transaction to be successful, from start to finish
Education/Experience:
* A minimum of one (1) to four (4) years of training experience or the equivalent of education and /or experience
