Customer Service Representative-Intermediate


Adecco is currently assisting a local client by recruiting for several Customer Service Representative-Intermediate positions in Overland Park, KS for a full-time, contract, employment opportunity. The CSR-Intermediate performs duties such as answer incoming calls; assist customers/pharmacies/physicians with orders and reorders, benefit eligibility questions and prescription status inquiries. The main focus of the position is to assist pharmacies and members on all issues related to processing of pharmacy claims. The position pays $12.05 p/hr; schedule will include a weekend day, with various start times, and overtime may be required, depending on business needs. Job Description:


Coordinate internal resolution of claims, exceptions, and other issues.
Initiate correspondence with members regarding claims rejections and other benefit interpretations.
Makes outbound calls on prescriptions, withhold orders, and payment issues.
Educate customers on benefits, use of plan, formulary, premiums and status of orders, claims, or inquiries.
Escalate drug related calls to appropriate pharmacist; may also assist in logging in new prescription orders.
Determine appropriateness of overriding pharmacy claims, edits, and error messages.


Qualifications:


High School Diploma/GED.
Must be available to work any assigned shift Mon-Fri between 5 AM – 10 PM.
Excellent communications skills, both verbally and in writing.
1-2 years Health Care/Pharmacy experience is a plus!
Must be willing to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Possess PC and Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to learn new and complex computer systems.
Call Center and Health Care experience is a plus.
Customer Service experience preferred.



Hours/Salary:


Full time, 40 hours a week (5 weeks training... TRAINING HOURS Mon- FRI 7:00 am - 4:00 pm or 8:00 am- 5 pm; WORKING Hours are Mon-Fri anytime between 5:00 am - 10:00 PM)
Regular pay for Holidays.
