Job description
- The position of Open Items Representative is an outbound call center position for which calls are made on behalf of our clients for loans which are showing expired and/or expiring insurance coverage on their properties.
- These calls are necessary because current insurance information was not received through other, more traditional methods such as receipt of a renewal policy.
- Research is often required to ensure all available third parties were called and that the loan was worked thoroughly, per procedures.
- External resources such as carrier automated systems, websites and fax transmissions are utilized to update and disburse necessary premium amounts.
- Each loan worked is at risk for policy cancellation and as such, the associates must act with high urgency in resolving each loan.

Responsibilities:
- Making outbound phone calls to insurance companies, agents and borrowers to obtain renewal insurance information
- Utilizing external resources such as carrier automated systems, websites and fax transmissions
- Identifying opportunities to improve the existing process, including procedure changes

Requirements:

1+ years Call Center Experience
- 7,000 keystrokes per hour required
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent
