The Marketing Communications Specialist will play a key senior leadership role within our client’s consumer products division. This is a contract opportunity lasting approximately 9 months in Danbury, CT.

Responsibilities:

Develop both long and short term marketing strategies
Interface with all product/brand teams and external agencies to build effective consumer and trade advertising and PR campaigns
Build and drive channel trade marketing programs for the brands; oversee and manage each brand’s identity within specialized programs
Create, forecast, and manage multi-million dollar brand and global shows budgets
Pursue, select, and negotiate strategic partnerships and contracts; interface with external agencies
Collaborate with global leadership, corporate communications, product marketing, pricing, and engineering to ensure proper product positioning
Research, assess, and communicate marketplace trends; implement improved brand imaging, presentation and promotional initiatives
