Adecco jobs for you
Let Adecco be the key to your career renovation!
Adecco has partnered with a local aviation / aerospace manufacturer in their search for a Plant Engineer to redesign their Rockland County manufacturing facility. This person will coordinate multiple teams to ensure the facility update is planned and executed to meet EHS standards while meeting the new manufacturing needs. This will all be done while normal production continues so it’s critical to ensure normal business practices aren’t interrupted during the renovation!
The Plant Engineer will work with the facility manager, contractors, and engineering firms to design and implement a plan for the facility upgrade. This includes:
Managing project timelines
Contractor and equipment manufacturer oversight – ensuring everything is scheduled to be built and/or delivered correctly
Keeps detailed and accurate records of expenditures, contracts, etc.
Coordinates with local and state regulatory agencies – permits, rebates, etc.
Implement 6S in the new and existing facilities
BS Degree required for the Plant Engineer, preferably in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering. Must have at least five years experience in a similar role, including several similar facility renovations and/or builds, including implementation of 6S / Lean Manufacturing principals in a manufacturing environment.
