Adecco Engineering & Technology is interviewing for a Quality Engineer to take on a position in Los Angeles, CA. The Quality Engineer is expected to establish, maintain and improve all responsible areas of the Quality System to ensure manufacturing processes are controlled and pertinent processes are regularly reviewed, analyzed and reported in an effort to support continuous improvement within the manufacturing facility. The Quality Engineer will also be responsible for measuring and testing equipment needs while preparing research and justification requisitions.
Quality Engineer job responsibilities include:
-Supplier Quality policies and procedures are effective and when required meet the appropriate ATEX, ISO 9001 & TS 16949 requirements.
-Strong background and experience of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd party audit party audits in the ISO 9001 and TS 16949 environment.
-Take a lead role as the Quality representative on New Product Introductions. Production introduction shall be accompanied by Quality validation using DVP&R, advanced statistical methods, such as Variance and Regression analysis, Gage R&R, Test of Means, etc.
- Must have the ability to review ECO/ECR (PCO/PCR).
-Must possess the knowledge of APQP documentations and their linkages (DFMEA – PFMEA – Control Plan)
-BS degree in Technical discipline with 7-10 years experience in Quality Assurance capacity.
-Industry certification (CQE, etc.) is preferred.
-Some formal Six Sigma training (Green Belt level), a minimum.
-Expertise in an electronic, electro-mechanical assembly, mechanical assembly, and test or inspection environment desired.
