Entry Level Laboratory Technician
Adecco Engineering & Technical is presently hiring for a Quality Control Lab Technician Job in Acampo, CA. In this position candidates will perform activities of recovery and auditing to obtain high percentage accuracy of all products samples. This position is scheduled to last for approximately 2-3 months.
In this position candidates will perform activities of recovery and auditing to obtain high percentage accuracy of all products samples. Detailed inspection of client product labels for production purposes, documentation and cross checking to make sure that quality standards are being met. Prepare and complete daily sample logs, production batch records and other documentation using calculators and computer software, while communicating all issues to management. Track and maintain inventory to assure constant supply, according to production flow, including monthly inventory of instruments and other related equipment. Assist in other operational activities including the laboratory and customer relationship management.
B.S. or A.S. Degree
Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.
Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
The position requires seasonal availability for a seven day work week
Required to comply with company GMP Policies.
Bachelor or Associate's degree and/or 1 year Laboratory Technician experience.
Experience reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Skilled in writing routine reports and correspondence.
Skilled in the use of MS Word and Excel.
Skilled in applying concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Experience solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Skilled in interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to climb up and down stairs to collect samples
