Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world's leader in staffing solutions, has urgent contract positions on 1st and 2nd shift for our client in Canoga Park, CA. Our client is a leading manufacturer of electronic and energy products and is in need of Engineering Technicians for Engineering support. Details are below:
Title: Engineering Technician
Location: Canoga Park, CA.
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00/hr DOE
Length: Temporary 10 months+

Technician

Assisting Engineers with experiments, yield issues and documentation of flexible printed circuit development.
Works with moderate work direction, and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving. Worker performs tasks to assist engineers such as preliminary research, initial drawings or diagrams, design modification, or testing. Operates under direct supervision from an engineer or a senior technician.

•Able to use all normal assembly hand tools
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Self- motivated
•Good people skills including the ability to work effectively in a team environment
•Excellent organization skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments
•Good work habits - timely, thorough, and dependable
•Flexible to provide support for round-the-clock manufacturing operations as needed
•Intermediate MS Excel

Desired but not required - Ideal candidate will have the following:
•Be able to read and understand drawings and electrical/electronic schematics
•PCB or Flex manufacturing experience is preferred
•Data driven (Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control -SPC, Quality systems) experience is highly preferred
•Familiar with Minitab or other stat software

Hours: 1st shift 7am to 3:30pm or 2nd shift 3pm to 11:30pm
