JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Develops manufacturing processes
Study product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment;
Manage equipment vendors.
Experience with inputs, outputs, raw materials, waste, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing the manufacture and distribution of goods.
Analyze and plan work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
Develop manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to optimize manufacturing processes and facility utilization.
Coordinating maintenance and repair services
Plan equipment layout, work flow, and accident prevention measures to maintain efficient and safe utilization of plant facilities.
Drafts and designs layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency
Supervises maintenance technicians; prepare work schedules; administers timesheets.
Education:
BS manufacturing engineering
5 to 10 years experience, including managerial responsibility
