Project Manager/Validation Lead
An exciting opportunity with a dynamic and fast-growing multi-million dollar medical device company awaits the right candidate for a Project Management opportunity. The company has gained its recognition for being trusted in intensive care units throughout the world and the company continues to be the world's leading manufacturer of medical products.
We have a client located in Northwest Indiana that is seeking a Sr. Validation Project Engineer and someone to play a key role in the development of a production facility start up. The ideal candidate will possesses a strong knowledge of process validation, company start-up, FDA manufacturing practices and inventory management.
Additional responsibilites will include but is not limited to:
Work with the Quality Team / Validation Team to develop overall validation plan (all products and processes) and the specifics of implementing plan within company's policies and procedures.
Develop overall schedule plan for the validations at the new site and work with others to integrate into one master schedule for the project.
Develop the resource plan (timing, job descriptions, internal vs external resources, etc.) to match the validation plan and work with the HR team During implementation / validation phase, person would provide management / leadership of the resource brought in from outside to ensure they conform to the company's policies and procedures.
Work with Supply Chain to ensure proper inventory levels needed to maintain level supply during the move & validation.
Work with Finance to develop measures to ensure project is tracking on plan financially and projected spending plan.
Proactively suggest improvement or changes to improve the schedule, cost or feature of the project.
Engineering degree from accredited college or university.
2. Science / Business degree may be acceptable depending upon experience.
Background and Experience:
15+ years of experience in manufacturing / supply chain / quality or engineering
Medical device experience preferred
Plant Startup experience / Facility Moves
Process Validation experience
Project leadership / Management experience
