Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a Quality Engineer on a Direct Hire opportunity with a leading company in Steel Manufacturing known for being a fun, challenging and rewarding place to work, located in Northern Kentucky.
In this position candidates will be play a key role in all product quality in order to achieve the product attributes necessary to meet the goals of company with potential quarterly bonuses.
Key Functions Include:
Review all aspects of quality in the assigned areas and insure that established goals are set for all product lines
Review all aspects of quality to insure that the company is producing an acceptable product at the lowest possible cost and meeting internal and external customer deliveries on time
Track the quality of all product lines to insure that it is acceptable and that the company is achieving continuous improvement based on quality and productivity
Initiate corrective and preventative actions to prevent and minimize the recurrences of problems
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of a 4 year technical degree
Specific Experience:
2 or more years in a manufacturing setting relevant to steel manufacturing
Soft Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication
Willingness to work a flexible schedule
