Duties and Responsibilities:

Set up and maintaining mold presses. Work with mold technicians
Internal Product Quality
Process Quality – molding parameters
Development, establishment, and monitor internal quality performance, taking appropriate action to deter repeat issues
Root cause analysis and permanent corrective action
Customer Liaison for product quality
Internal and External Projects, both Core-driven and Customer-driven

Required Background:

BS in Industrial, Manufacturing, Quality or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
5+ years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in mid-volume mixture of automation and manual operations.
Experience with FMEA, Control Plans
Experience in reinforced fiberglass industry and compression molding of SMC.
Experience in assembly of SMC components

Desired traits:

Project Management
Strong analytical skills
Self-starter, independent but able to function in a team environment
Solid works a plus
Ability to travel approximately 10%.
Experience with Microsoft Project or similar project management tool
GD&T knowledge and understanding
TS16949, or ISO9001 systems preferred.
Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred.
