Direct Hire Bachelors Degree Required Software Controls Engineer

We are currently seeking a Software Controls Engineer for a direct hire job in Erie, PA. This is a full time job responsible for development and design of PLC (programmable logic controller) based press controls including equipment selection, programming, testing, field start-up and customer training. The primary responsibility is the programming of industrial machine control systems including PLC (programmable logic controller), motion control PID and other software based components.

The candidate must have a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years experience in design and development of machine tool control applications. Candidate must be proficient with the use of AutoCAD and have the ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and schematics.

Candidate must be willing to travel as there is the possibility they may need to work offsite for 1-2 weeks if necessary.
