Additional requirements include knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Windows as well as general background working with computers and office equipment (copiers, etc.) and accurately performing data entry. Ability to work competently with both SAP and Pro Alpha ERP systems is required. The work within the Service Center requires excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude as well as the ability to train the facility’s technicians. The person must also be able to follow repair instructions and testing techniques and will provide the final quality checkpoint on all repaired pumps. Requirements also include the ability to work in a team oriented environment, being a self-starter, motivated, creative, flexible, self-confident, deadline oriented and able to multi-task.
Investigate warranty issues and complete any replated warranty rebills (CL's) in accordance with the factory's requirements in a timely manner. Track the warranty trends to actively identify application or misuse issues. Work directly with the ASC administration and Product Sales Manager to determine warranty status of product repairs.
Provide final quality checks and sign offs on all repaired pumps at the service center.
Provide internal, onsire training to the service center technicians and field service team. This may involve equiptment installation and training on-site at the customer.
Produce Support Engineer is responsible for acting as the liaison between the factory and all PV-US inquiries on technical topics with the Product Sales Manager.
Maintain a positive customer relationship and focus while responding to customer needs.
Use approved procedures to develop unique solutions for standard applications.
Diagnose failure modes and compose failure analysis reports. Throubleshoot problems and participate in active solutions and/or corrective actions to avoid re-occurance.
Distribute and maintain all product documentation including technical reference manuals, service information bulletins and product user manuals.
Support the contracts and AMC product line customers when required.
Other duties as assigned.
BS degree in Engineering or relatied field, or equivilent experience.
Six (6) or more years of experience with diagnosis and troubleshooting of complex electromechanical and electronic systems and/or technical customer service on company equiptment.
Basic mathematical skills required including the ability to accurately use scales and measurement equipment.
Experience in a semiconductor environment preferred.
