Manufacturing Process Engineer – Southern Maine
Salary $60K+


Responsibilities:


Analyze current processes and cost justify recommended changes, including capital equipment
Develop and document effective processes for new products
Provide project management and cross-functional team leadership to implement changes
Track results of changes
Own and provide day to day support to the manufacturing departments on all matters that effect quality and on-time delivery
Develop and maintain labor routings
Develop and coordinate tooling for sheet metal fabrication


Qualifications:


B.S. in Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering or 5+ years related discipline
Experience with welding, both robotically and semiautomatic mig
Experience with stamping presses and related tooling
Experience with sheet metal punching, notching, and bending
Work analysis and cost/benefit analysis
Automation, such as with PLC’s, proxy’s, sensing, etc
Strong project management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A strong bias towards continuous improvement
Working knowledge of ACAD, MS Project, Excel, MS Word, Oracle or equivalent
