My client an engineering consulting firm is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join a their growing Bethesda practice. This successful candidate will perform the electrical system engineering design for building electrical, lighting, fire alarm and other signals. The position requires experience in electrical systems engineering for buildings in the Mission Critical, Commercial and or Institutional sectors. The candidate must possess outstanding verbal/written communication and client satisfaction skills. Specific activities include the design of electrical engineering systems, performing calculations, equipment selection, equipment specification, system design, system layout, field investigation, construction administration, performing energy audits, interfacing with clients, attending meetings and working close with the entire design team.
P.E or F.E is a plus
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering
5 years of progressive electrical experience
Previous experience at an engineering consulting firm
Experience with green design concepts and LEED for COMMERCIAL, GOVT, OR INSTITUTIONAL PORTFOLIOS.
Customer Orientation - ability to interface with clients
Strong verbal writing skills
EXPERT proficiency in AUTOCAD
Proficiency in Revit MEP
Leed AP certification is a plus
