Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for an Product Engineer on a --CONTRACT TYPE-- opportunity with a leading company in Colorado Springs, CO.
The Product Engineer position serves as the engineering interface between design, assembly, manufacturing and the customers of Specialty Seating Products.
DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
Provide technical support for assembly operations, manufacturing operations and external customers.
Work closely with design engineering, manufacturing engineering, and quality to facilitate the movement of aircraft seating products through production.
Interface with marketing and program management to ensure customer satisfaction.
Champion cost saving ideas for existing products by implementing design and process improvement.
Facilitate and manage design projects on existing programs per customer specification.
Develop and maintain critical procedures, guidelines, and work instructions for development and certified products.
Complies with all safety and environmental regulations, and works to create and promote a safe working environment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Specific Experience/Technology:
2 to 5 years related experience.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Proficient oral and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and work in a high pace environment.
3D CAD experience or training.
Experience in an aerospace engineering design and manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of commercial and military specifications.
Experience working with military and or commercial aerospace personnel and subcontractors.
Understanding of military and or commercial aerospace design protocol.
Team center experience a plus
