Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Engineer on a Permanent opportunity with a leading company in Alabama.

The company’s Quality Assurance team has evolved into a highly skilled unit that incorporates the qualities of teamwork and process improvements. Not only have they built a strong foundation, but they have also incorporated proper procedures through corporate compliance in quality assurance procedures.


Responsibilities:

Interprets standards and communicates requirements to operations
Ensure customer quality requirements are met
Develop & sustain positive working relations with customers and customer representatives
Assists Technical Services to address any non conformance issues
Initiates corrective and preventive action to maintain specification compliance
Monitors and measures quality system performance
Ensure all non-destructive, visual testing, and other quality processes meet API, ASNT, and ISO 9001/2000 specifications
Ensures necessary Maintenance and calibration of all NDT equipment
Responsible for training and certification of all NDT personnel



Education and Required Experience:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Material Science or equivalent degree
Knowledge of quality assurance process and systems in steel or pipe manufacturing
Prior experience in a Manufacturing environment with 3 years minimum experience in non destructive and destructive testing methods being desirable
