Project Manager-Manufacturing
Adecco Engineering & Technical is currently searching for an Engineering Project Manager (strong proposal experience) for a long term position in Eastern Kansas City. This position is expected to become permanent for the right candidate.
The selected individual will be responsible for planning and executing Engineering proposals and projects within a lean manufacturing environment. The project manager must demonstrate strong organization, documentation and communication skills.
This individual will be responsible for:
Defining and documenting project/proposal deliverables
Working on multiple R&D projects/proposals at once
Gathering project/proposal requirements
Identifying and managing project/proposal issues and risks
Creating and managing detail project plans, resources and budget
Documenting and reporting status as required
Must ensure projects/proposals deliverables meet specifications, deadline and budget.
Requires
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Project Management (Advanced degree is highly desired)
5+ years of experience in project management and proposal lifecycle
7+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Six Sigma
Lean Manufacturing
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office toolset: Excel, PowerPoint (to produce status reports), Word, Project, & Visio
Extensive background check & drug test required.
