Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a Process Engineer - R&D plastics for a temporary opportunity with a company in Kennebunk, ME.
This is an excellent opportunity for an entry level/Junior level Chemical Engineers, Plastics or Mechanical Engineers. This is a 3+ month temporary position to assist in R&D.

Support For Molding Development
Responsibilities
Works closely with Molding Development Lead/Plastics Engineer

1) Execution of molding runs - preparation of molding machine, tooling, and material for molding development. Requires operator duties as well.
2) Characterization of samples - Set-up and operation of various metrology methods.
3) Summary and Analysis of Data - Compiling process monitor data, observations, and measurements. Generating graphical summaries as needed.

Skills
Mechanically inclined
Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Knowledge (not pre-requisites)
Familiar with Injection Molding process
Familiar with Metrology good practices
Industry experience similar to Plastics Industry will be considered
