Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for an NDT Inspector on a contract opportunity with our client in Batesville, MS


In this position candidates will need to meet the following requirements:

Perform both physical and chemical inspections including: fluorescent penetrant on drilled holes in fan stator assy. (aluminum and titanium).

Associated specifications are P3TF47 Class A with limits defined in P29TF7 Class A and FPD-STD-45D2 - Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection.
Perform physical inspections including: Eddy Current and A-Scan on composite components.
A-Scan - Associated specifications are P3TF27 Class C with acceptability limits defined per the print.
Eddy Current - Associated specifications are P23TF21 - Machined Features EC Inspection and FPD-STD-45D6 – Eddy Current Inspection.
Set up and perform such tests per the associated NDT procedures and analyze NDT data per associated client's quality requirements.
Collect, interpret and evaluate the data relative to engineering or project requirements.
Inspect, evaluate and document process results.
Maintain chemicals utilized for tests at proper levels as required.
Maintain chemicals utilized for tests within the expiration period as required.
Test, evaluate and maintain control panels as required.
Clean parts before/after inspection as required by process.
Clean up any chemical run-off associated with the inspection processes.
Must be Level II certified and must maintain Level II certification per NAS 410 for each NDT method.
Maintain Current Eye Exam per NAS 410 as necessary for each NDT method.
Train and mentor 3-4 operators to become Level I certified in fluorescent penetrant, eddy current and A-Scan with a plan to become Level II certified thereafter.
May be required to do minor maintenance on equipment.
Technicians will comply with all local Batesville Composite Operation Plant EHS practices.
