The Dining Room Attendant is the link to Cirque du Soleil clients and is the eyes on the dining room. The Dining Room Attendant is responsible for making coffee, keep refrigerators well stocked and keeping the dining room tidy and clean at all times.
¿ Cashiering and balancing cash receipts
¿ Dining room supplies inventory control (includes making orders in advance and communicating delivery delays to the chefs)
¿ Assist with cleaning kitchen, dining room, and stores
o Sweeping, washing and mopping floors
o Stocking and cleaning the refrigerators, checking the expiration dates on items.
o Cleaning dining room windows and doors, computer area, patio, baby chairs, microwave and toaster
o Clean trash bins and changing trash bags when full
o Clean table and chairs; refill salt and pepper shakers and napkin containers as needed
¿ Responsible for care of the dining room:
o Prepare, dispensing, and sell hot and cold beverages and other merchandise, i.e. coffee (2 pots of regular/1 pot of decaffeinated), juices, beer, wine, espresso, cappuccino, soft drinks
o Sell food by the weight and/or by the unit to temporary staff and permanent staff guests
o Fill up juice machines (ensure cleanliness of machine)
o Clean up coffee area, cash register area, service line and dining room area
o Fill up soft drink, juices, beer, wine and yogurt in pastry refrigerator
o Clean and fill condiments, i.e. salt, pepper and sugar shakers
o Change garbage bags
o Other related task
¿ Knowledge and experience using a cash machine
¿ Knowledge cash reconciliation
¿ Knowledge of espresso and cappuccino machine
¿ 2 years experience in Food Service or Hospitality industry
¿ Must be honest, punctual, and reliable with good manners
¿ Must have great people skills, be proactive, energetic, well-organized and have a great attitude
¿ Maintain a clean and well groomed appearance
¿ Perform task quickly and efficiently
¿ Must speak English
Other Duties as Assigned
¿ Assist in other areas as needed and assigned by other Cirque du Soleil Kitchen Manager and Head-Chefs and/or Adecco On-Site staff.
