Job description

Pleasantly answer incoming phone calls. Handle and complete customer returns by the end of each business day (Same day in which it is received). Complete customer job quotes within 1 hour of receipt of quote. Check stock and place orders for customers. Track orders for customers as needed and provide proof of deliveries. Keep general office and desk areas clean. Fax nightly confirmations to customers. Send out credit applications and manufacturer literature to prospective and current customers. In addition to the essential job functions described above, all associates will perform duties as required by branch management. Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based upon branch size and operations. Crouching and kneeling. Grasping objects. Sitting for extended periods of time. Repetitive motions with substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Ability to talk excessively on the phone and build customer relationships. Occasional lifting of 25 pounds around the office. Must comply with all OSHA regulations. Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company. including all applicable safety rules and regulations. Comply with Policy Manual that is available to be read by all associates. Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical skills. Personal Computer, adding machine, calculator, fax machine, printer, step stool, ACD phone system. Attendance on a regular and consistent basis is mandatory.

Other specific skills required:
Experience in Stock Market, Industrial Products/Services, Sales/Marketing or Facilities Maintenance are added pluses!
Must be PC proficient
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must be able to work a Monday thru Friday shift of 8AM-5PM or 11AM-8PM.
