Position: Technical Recruiter
Location: Mountain View,CA
Hours: M-F (8am-5pm)
Length: 1 year
Salary: $60-75 based on experience and degree
Recruiters play an essential role in fueling company growth with extraordinary talent. In this position, you will implement staffing strategies to provide a qualified and diverse candidate pool.
In this role you will be tasked with:
Proactively conduct data research and investigate new ideas to create innovative sourcing strategies
Focus on sourcing passive candidates through high quantity networking, outbound cold calling, complex internet searches, and research.
Source active candidates from on-line databases, contact lists, internal databases, and employee referrals.
Act as a search expert for a functional area by understanding functional hiring needs, position specifications, process improvement, and search requirements. Some functional areas might include: Software Engineers (SWE), Site Reliability Engineers (SRE), Software Engineer in Test (SET) and diversity
Review employee referral resumes for skill level and qualifications; follow up with initial phone interview to assess availability, fit with role and interest
Partner with fellow recruiters and hiring managers to generate ideas, leverage resources, and share information that facilitates an effective search process.
You have a proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment as well as the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work time efficiently.
Ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of recent experience recruiting Software Engineers.
Manage candidate process and act as a candidate advocate.
Evaluate skill level and manage the offer process, including reference checks, salary recommendations, offer letter generation, and offer acceptance/declines.
Negotiate offers by partnering with hiring manager, senior management, and other groups as necessary.
Responsible for sourcing candidates through networking, internet postings, university relations, etc.
Mentor and provide guidance and direction to recruiting coordinators.
Passion for improving the customer experience with customers broadly defined as candidates, new hires, hiring managers, and recruiters.
Continuous follow-up with clients to confirm staffing plans and candidate needs are met.
Compile and update reports for job openings, hires, and post-hire summaries for hiring managers.
Requirements: Demands an uncommon balance of creativity and drive, along with interpersonal savvy and basic analytics.
Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment as well as the Recruitment experience in one or more of the following areas: Technical - Tech, Finance, Information Technology - IT, Software Engineers, Site Reliability Engineers, Software Engineering in Test, and Diversity Recruitment.
