Adecco is currently recruiting for one of our clients in Mesa, AZ. We are looking for experienced Machine Operators, General Laborers and Welders for a long term opportunity!

Responsibilities:

Machine Operators/Laborers

*Operates machine that cuts metal objects, such as; sheets, plates, billets or bars, to specified length
*Positions, guides and aligns product under shear blade.
*Tend shear on production line where shear is fed by conveyor, such as automobile frame line or rolling mill.
*May position stops according to calibrated gauge on machine to shear to length such items as scrap, billets, or reinforcing rods.
*Verify size of sheared items, using tape measurer, caliper, or template.
*Shear metal to specified circular or curved dimensions.
*Operates forklift to move material
*General labor
*Production


WELDERS:


•Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
•Ignite torches or start power supplies and strike arcs by touching electrodes to metals being welded, completing electrical circuits.
•Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
•Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using processes such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, shielded metal arc, resistance welding, and submerged arc welding.
•Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material.
•Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.


Requirements:

*2 years of recent forklift experience
*Ability to lift 50lbs for the duration of the shift
*Ability to stand for 10-12 hours
*Flexible to work mandatory overtime
*CNC experience preferred but not required

*Must be able to read blueprints and schematics
*Previous machine operator experience working with metal
