Individuals selected for this temporary operator position will work in a cleanroom environment operating highly technical equipment to make semiconductors. While working in these positions individuals are expected to wear the appropriate cleanroom attire and follow strictly-defined manufacturing and safety specifications to ensure the quality of the company’s products. Our manufacturing facility is in operation seven days a week. Individuals work 12-hour shifts working 3 to 4 days per week. We are accepting applications for all four of our manufacturing shifts.
Individuals selected for this position will be responsible for various manufacturing operation. Job requirements include the following:
• Follow, support, and enforce site policies, specifications, safety standards, and guiding principles
• Ensure maximum product output and integrity
• Manage line balance, WIP, and area of operation through Fairchild systems
• Work efficiently and engage in job tasks that will assist team to achieve daily goals
• Anticipate solutions to problems as they arise and address issues and concerns using appropriate channels
• Identify and communicate standardization and improvement opportunities within area of operation
• Participate in projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs (i.e. 5S+, TPM, etc.)
• Readily accept and display positive behavior toward change
• Accept constructive feedback
• Recognize and communicate relevant information to various support groups as well as all levels of management
• Demonstrate honesty and respect in the workplace
Intermediate level computer skills are required. Specific job-related training will be provided. Stable work history is required. Individuals must be a minimum of 18 years of age and must have strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language. We are looking for individuals who are dependable, learn quickly, and prefer to work in a team environment. You must be willing to undergo pre-employment drug and background screening.
