Purpose and Scope: Requires and individual that can work in a fast paced environment at a rapidly growing company. Requires someone who can perform multiple job functions in a startup environment with minimal supervision. These responsibilities include Shipping/ Receiving, Inventory/Stockroom management, Inventory transfers and job transactions and shipping support. Requires an individual that understands the demands of a growing company.
The Inventory Control-Shipper-Receiver is responsible for the issuance of material to work orders/jobs for the in house manufacture of components used in the building of finished goods. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for receiving material delivered from vendors, Contract Manufacturers and couriers. This is a function reporting in to the Operations organization.
Shipping material from ERP system, utilizing UPS World Ship for tracking of deliveries.
Receive materials/packages, services, capital equipment from carriers, CMs and couriers. The candidate will be require to move pallets and equipment with pallet jacks or dolly.
Receive/Review Work Orders from MRP with Production Manager and issue all materials accordingly.
Issue material for component builds 2 weeks in advance, maintain production work orders and jobs to ensure inventory accuracy.
Maintain accurate list of any material shortages and notify Planning Staff.
Update weekly material status reports and prepare/update material shortage concerns.
Accurately receive material in the ERP system and ensure it is placed in the correct stocking location. Forward packing slips to AP dept., deliver MRO materials to end users.
Perform weekly cycle counts and adjust inventory as needed.
Responsible for initiating and maintaining a primary stocking location to identify shortages, issues, etc.
Issue material for rework or to Engineering using stock withdrawal form and maintain records.
Interface with production staff and buyers when shortages are identified.
Experience in the operation and implementation of a mid-tier ERP system such as NetSuite, Intuitive, or Epicor.
Familiar with sensitive materials handling procedures.
ERP systems working knowledge and administration required.
Experience working in a manufacturing-stockroom-kitting environment
MS Office Skills required.
Familiar with full physical inventory process.
