My client is a large manufacturer of Food products. Currently they are looking for a Production Supervisor.
The position will supervise 25 + employees per shift in the production and packing processes. Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule in coordination with Logistics.
Ensuring that the production is cost effective, monitoring efficiencies and waste through metrics.
Estimating and reviewing costs and monitoring and documenting process controls.
Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programs.
Monitorsrequests r and aw material for production packaging. Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustment of machines.
Supervises, coaches, and trains employees and performs a variety of management and administrative tasks.
Enforces Federal, State and Baking Industries Health and Safety regulations.
Promotes safety in the work area by understanding and complying with safety procedures and reporting all accidents in a timely manner.
Reports harassment or other behaviors that may cause a hostile work environment.
Reviews QA and production records. Attend quarterly Quality Assurance Facilities audits, and develops and implements corrective action.
Ensures that policies, procedures and systems are in place to ensure continuous operations, proactive maintenance and timely problem resolution.
Maintains constant awareness of facilities and equipment hazards and proactively manages risk.
Qualification/ Skill Requirement:
GED or Bachelor degree.
4- 7 years experience as supervisory in Food Productions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Mathematical , Statistical and Financial skills
