Responsibilities:
- Support 90-day plan through release of daily/weekly build schedules to supporting facilities
- Develop build schedules for assigned OEM lines
- Establish kanban card requirements for finished assemblies and major components.
- Ensure interval calculations are maintained.
- Prepare truck schedules to meet customer demand
- Coordinate prototype, PSW builds and service builds
- Ensure manufactured component availability
- Prioritize and sequence assembly
- Communicate performance measurements for assigned areas(on-time delivery, linearity)
Requirements:
-- BA Degree (Engineering, Operations, Business Administration) preferred. AS degree required
- Five to eight years planning experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, automotive preferred
-Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Strong manufacturing systems experience: MRPII, EDI, Spreadsheets
