Primary Tasks/Activities

Present technical overview of custom software and technical requirements to clients when planning implementations and upgrades.
Manage setup of technical environment for hosted clients.
Provide assistance to clients when designing interfaces from their ERP systems into custome software Lead testing of those interfaces. Includes reconciling data between clients ERP system(s) and cusotme software.
Configure custom software, including setting up nightly batch jobs.
Serve as the technical expert for our client software implementations.
Serve as a primary contact for our client’s IT department.
Troubleshoot network, database, and software problems for our client implementations.
Conduct technical training for designated client IT owners of the software.
Work with Help Desk personnel to resolve client installation issues.
Communicate/coordinate with Client Value Team as well as Audit team to support clients.




Knowledge Components

Strong, broad IT background with software implementations focus.
SQL Server

Data definition, data manipulation, data control, and transactional control
Administration, including creating and restoring SQL backups
Development, including creating and troubleshooting DTS packages, stored procedures, complex data queries.
Windows networking, including IIS and Windows security admin.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of FTP, secure FTP, and PGP
Working knowledge of DOS commands.



Education Levels/Credentials (Degree types and Emphasis)

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar preferred

Experience (Years and types)

Two-plus years technical software implementation experience
Prefer candidate with experience in or exposure to Accounts Payable applications in ERP systems such as PeopleSoft, SAP, and Oracle
Customer-facing experience with large customers preferred
