Adecco Engineering & Technical is interviewing for a Sr. Software Engineer (Android Framework). This is a senior software engineering position that will be responsible for Android SDK framework and middleware development. The candidate will be working in a small team of Android developers who are responsible for adapting Android OS to embedded mobile technology at the device layer level.

Requirements:

Professional experience on Android v2.1 or later with working knowledge of Android framework and native API development required.
A strong Java object-oriented programming background is desired.
Troubleshoot and maintain existing Android Framework on handset device
Modify Android Framework to meet customer requirements
Design, document, and develop an Android Framework to be released as part of an SDK
Perform unit test on development units and integration test on actual lab equipments
Support software customer release
Represent Framework group to participate in an Agile development team
Explain, formalize, and defend ideas using design diagrams and documents
Follow stringent development schedule to meet customer delivery dates
Involve in different phases of software development cycle depending on the need of the team
